Position Summary:
The Computer Science Instructor is responsible for teaching foundational computer skills to students, preparing them to apply these skills in various professional and personal contexts. This role includes developing lesson plans, delivering lectures, guiding practical sessions, and assessing student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach basic computer concepts, including but not limited to, computer hardware, software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet usage, and email communication.
Prepare and deliver effective lessons that engage and challenge students, adapting content for varying levels of student experience.
Develop and implement practical exercises to reinforce learning and build students’ skill in computer applications.
Track student progress through assessments, assignments, and feedback, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
Give guidance and support to students in understanding course content and completing assignments.
Stay updated on technological advancements and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Keep precise records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
Support students in preparing for placement tests and practical examinations related to computer skills.
Collaborate with other instructors and administrative staff to guarantee smooth operations in the Computer Sciences Department.
Keep a safe and positive learning environment in the computer lab.
Engage in professional development and continuous learning to improve instructional techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or a professional diploma or certificate in Computer Science.
Proven experience teaching basic computer skills, preferably in a technical or vocational institution.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, internet navigation, and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of skill.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Preferred Skills:
Past experience working in a vocational or technical training setting.
Familiarity with e-learning tools and educational technologies.
Ability to offer career guidance and mentorship to students pursuing technology-related fields.
Working Conditions:
Classroom and computer lab setting.
Full-time or part-time schedule depending on the institution’s needs.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Makeup Artistry Instructor supports the Lead Instructor in delivering makeup artistry lessons and practical sessions. The role involves assisting with class preparations, guiding students through hands-on activities, and providing individualized support to guarantee students master the techniques and skills required for success in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Help the Lead Makeup Artistry Instructor in preparing and delivering lessons on makeup techniques, tools, and products.
Give hands-on guidance and supervision to students during practical makeup sessions, ensuring they understand and apply the skills being taught.
Help keep an organized and fully equipped classroom, ensuring that all tools, products, and equipment are in working order.
Support students with personalized feedback and guidance to improve their skills in various areas of makeup artistry, like skincare, contouring, bridal, fashion, and special effects makeup.
Track student progress through observations and assessments, offering constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
Help in organizing and preparing students for practical exams and portfolio development.
Guarantee a safe, hygienic, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Stay updated on trends and new techniques in the makeup industry to support course content development.
Engage in professional development opportunities to improve instructional skills and stay current in the beauty industry.
Qualifications:
Advanced diploma or certificate in Makeup Artistry.
Proven experience in makeup application across various styles and techniques (bridal, fashion, editorial, etc.).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and help in a team-teaching environment.
Patience and enthusiasm for teaching students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Knowledge of makeup tools, products, and hygiene practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a vocational or technical training setting.
Familiarity with current makeup trends, tools, and technologies.
